On Morning Joe, Marco Rubio says he hasn't asked for Jeb Bush's support "right now", but that he hopes to "earn it".
SCARBOROUGH: You know, Marco, Jeb Bush and Charlie Crist have had a rocky relationship. Is Jeb behind your efforts?
RUBIO: Jeb is a mentor and someone I've learned a lot from. He's virtually a neighbor here in Miami. We haven't talked about him supporting me right now. I hope to earn his support. He's certainly a voter here in Florida, but that's....
SCARBOROUGH: [interrupting] ... You've never talked about Jeb Bush supporting you? I mean, from afar, it looks like a proxy fight between Jeb Bush and Charlie Crist, and you've never talked about Jeb supporting you?
RUBIO: No, I've never asked him to support me right now. I know his son is supporting me, and that's great, and as I said, I hope to earn his support, and I hope that that will happen, but it's not anything that's happened so far.
