Crist bleeds two key supporters

Congressmen Lincoln Diaz-Balart (R-Fla.) and Mario Diaz-Balart (R-Fla.) have withdrawn their support for Charlie Crist in his battle with Marco Rubio for Florida's open Senate seat.

The Hill:

.... the two unexpectedly pulled their endorsement weeks ago for reasons still unclear to voters. The Crist campaign only removed their names from their endorsement list today, reporters discovered.

In an interview with the Miami Herald, which first noticed the rescinded support, Lincoln merely said that Crist "left us no alternative and he knows why."

Red State's Erick Erickson is elated and speculative.

I have heard, though I do not know if it is true, that they are unhappy with a number of Crist’s recent policy decisions and a suggestion that Crist would be weak on Cuban policy. That last bit is a huge issue in South Florida.

Regardless of why, that establishment Republicans are now not just not endorsing, but yanking their endorsements, is a huge problem for Crist.

I say it again: I think Crist will drop out.
