Huck: It was great, but...

On Wednesday, Mike Huckabee released a statement praising Barack Obama's speech on Afghanistan.

He said the POTUS had given the Left a "hard spanking" and that "we owe him our non-partisan support".

Apparently, there was some angst among some Huck fans that, in part, fueled a follow-up post from the ex-Gov today.

I have read all of your comments regarding Afghanistan. Some of you disagree with my assertion that the President should have our non-partisan support as he seeks to give our military the resources they need to push al-Qaeda back to hell. I respect each of your opinions and understand that reasonable people often disagree.

However, there is one part of the President’s speech that I do not agree with and I want to make sure that my position is perfectly clear. I do not agree with the President’s statement that we would begin to remove American troops fromAfghanistan in July 2011.
