Rudy on California, Pete Rose, and NFL expansion

Rudy Giuliani talked to a Chamber of Commerce event in San Antonio yesterday, where he sounded off on a number of issues.

His advice to Texas:

“California is a good state for Texas to look at, and then do the opposite.”

His advice for NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell (Btw, did you know the commish is Jane Skinner's husband? I always thought he was married to Bill Belichick).

“You could put an NFL team in the smallest town in Texas and still get 100,000 fans for games.”

And according to reports, he drew applause when he said Pete Rose should be allowed in the Hall.
