Huge pork: DeMint and Thune vote "NO"; Corker "YES"

S.22, a massive omnibus bill composed of 160 separate bills, passed the U.S. Senate today, 73-21.

South Carolina Senator Jim DeMint, along with a (very) few other Republicans, had offered 16 amendments, all of which were blocked by Harry Reid.

DeMint had warned:

“If my colleagues on my side continue to accept this, there’s going to be no such thing as a Republican Party."

Potential 2012 candidates and their votes:

South Carolina Senator Jim DeMint: NO

South Dakota Senator John Thune: NO

Tennessee Senator Bob Corker: YES

Of interest:

Two so-called "RINOS", Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham, both voted NO, even as 19 Republican Senators (including names like Hatch and Wicker) joined ranks with Democrats to vote yes.
