Politico: DeMint might give Hillary guff

Politico reports that a handful of GOP Senators, including South Carolina's Jim DeMint, may pose problems for Hillary come confirmation time:

Nonetheless, there are several potential problem children on the GOP side, with noise likely to come from the committee’s most conservative members Jim DeMint (R-S.C), John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) and David Vitter (R-La.).

You can take DeMint off that list.

"I think she's a known commodity. She's been tested in a lot of ways. She expresses herself well, and I don't think she'll make any rookie mistakes."

Of note is the one, real GOP wildcard -- that Bob Corker guy, who's keeping Hill up at night.

Tennessee Republican Bob Corker is also reportedly a concern to Clinton’s team, not so much over ideology but rather because he’s unpredictable, creative and has a knack for getting press.

Oh, much woe can be wrought by an unpredictable, creative Senator with a knack for getting press. Joe Biden circa 1987 comes to mind.
