Romney: Iran shows Obama apology tour not working

On This Week, Mitt Romney came out firing on health care and Iran -- one of which he said was a looming failure, and the other a consequence of failure.

Re: public insurance options on health care:

"This is, instead, a Trojan Horse.... This is a way of getting government in the insurance business so they can take over health care.

This is the wrong way to go, and every single Republican and every thinking Democrat who knows something about the private sector would realize the wrong thing for America.... it would terrible for hospitals, awful for doctors, and ultimately, a disaster for the people in America."

On Iran, Romney sees a connection between Barack Obama's incipient foreign policy and this week's elections, calling Obama's claim that there was robust debate going on in Iran false, and declaring the election "a fraud" and "brutal oppression of the people."

"It's very clear that the President's policies of going around the world and apologizing for America aren't working.... Just sweet talk and criticizing America is not going to enhance freedom in the world."
