Crist looking for another judicial nominee

Fresh off his controversial LaBarga appointment*, Florida Gov. Charlie Crist is getting ready for another judicial nomination -- this time, to replace retiring Justice Charles Wells. He's sent a letter to the nominating commission asking for 6 names.

Conservative reax to the LaBarga pick were mostly negative. Human Events gave him an early 2009 RINO of the Year Award, Red State declared (in an action alert) Crist unqualified for the Republican Presidential nomination on the basis of the pick, The Corner lamented Crists's apparent cave to the Left, and even GOP 12 didn't like it.

Here's a fresh, new shot at pleasing conservatives.

*American Courthouse has a good summary of the blood spilled leading up to the LaBarga pick.
