The piece isn't available on-line, but the ex-chemical engineer and ABD marketing PhD wants to improve Louisiana public school children's standing in math and science through her nonprofit:
"I just think it's important for our kids to be put on the right foot. You only grow up once. We've got to make sure we give them every opportunity to succeed that we can."
She aims to do that through new technology, funded in part, by private businesses. Good work from a good lady.
