Dems pillage Rainy Day Fund in Barbour's state

Mississippi Democrats are restoring $17.5 million in higher education funding by tapping the state's rainy day fund.

And it's against Governor Haley Barbour's wishes.

Like Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels, Barbour would rather save his state's back-up $ for an even greater crisis. Like Indiana Democrats, Mississippi Democrats see available money and can't keep their hands to themselves. The uncanny parallel is called standardization, and it's the same consistency that makes a Big Mac in Texas taste like a Big Mac in Beijing (crushing state oppression, aside).
