Crist's Supreme appointment: "I'm all over the place"

In what's sure to send shivers down conservative spines, newly-appointed Florida Supreme Court Justice Jorge Labarga tells Law.com:

"A good judge, in my opinion, is one who is all over the place. I'm all over the place... My judicial philosophy is that every case is different, every case should be judged on the merits of the particular case."

He said judges cannot and should not seen by the public as reliably liberal or conservative.

So they should all be Sandra Day O'Connor?
