Pawlenty to Franken: No can do

Today, Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty shot down The Franken campaign's plea for a signature that would have certified Franken the winner in his battle with Norm Coleman.

“I have a duty to follow state law and our statutes are clear on this issue. I am prohibited from issuing a certificate of election until the election contest in the courts has been resolved.”
